Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a retail sales associate to assist customers in selecting products, quoting materials, and coordinating deliveries. You will engage with customers via walk-in, phone, or email, applying sales techniques and product knowledge to meet daily goals.

You will process orders, estimate materials for small projects, and help with store upkeep, safety, and customer workshops. A GED or high school diploma is required, with six months of sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers with product selection, pricing and availability.
• Provide material estimates and quotes for small packages (stairs, decks, sheds, etc.).
• Enter orders and schedule delivery of products.
• Maintain daily productivity and support store operations.
• Address simple customer queries and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
