Builders FirstSource is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to assist walk-in customers and handle product selection, pricing, and delivery coordination. You’ll provide quotes for small projects and enter orders while supporting daily store operations and inventory control.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED with some sales experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ERP and MS Office. This role is on-site with ongoing customer service and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 6 months sales-related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of product pricing, discounts and estimating formulas/guidelines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist retail customers with product selection, pricing, availability, refunds or exchanges.
• Provide material estimates and quotes for small packages like stairs, decks, fences, sheds.
• Enter orders into system and schedule delivery of products.
• Support store operations including housekeeping, signage, stocking and inventory control.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve simple complaints; escalate complex issues.
