Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Ridgefield, CT is seeking a part-time Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store. You will drive sales, coach team members, and ensure brand standards, SOPs, and operational continuity, including POS and self-checkout accuracy.

You’ll provide MOD coverage, oversee events like Balloons and Knit & Sew Shop, and promote loyalty programs while developing pricing, inventory accuracy, and customer experience daily.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage for smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train, coach, and develop team members across departments.
• Support assets protection and shrink reduction efforts.
