Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Sales Manager in Wilton, CT to lead a high-performing store team and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will drive selling behaviors, coach staff, and ensure SOP compliance while managing operations, POS usage, and store events.

This role also focuses on loyalty enrollment, protection plans, and omni-channel order fulfillment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of retail leadership, strong customer-focus, and the ability to manage front-end operations,

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to lead front-end and service operations and coach teams.
Ability to uphold SOPs, policies, and asset protection practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture to drive sales and customer experience.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintain floor leadership and service standards.
Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems and support transactions.
Oversee events and programs (Balloons, loyalty, and in-store experiences).
Drive omni-channel fulfillment including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
Coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
Maintain asset protection and reduce shrink through compliance.
