Job summary

The Michael's Companies is seeking a Store Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture in-store, driving core KPIs and delivering an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach staff, and ensure consistent execution of selling behaviors and brand standards.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS efficiency, loyalty enrollment, and omni-channel fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Proven track record of achieving KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, and select Custom Framing operations).
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink and ensure safe operations.
