Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Sales Manager for a Michaels location. The role leads a high-performing selling culture, drives sales results, and delivers an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach for exceptional Customer Experience and ART of Selling, while ensuring adherence to brand standards and SOPs. You will provide MOD coverage, manage POS/Self-Checkout usage, and support omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and selling behaviors.
• Ability to train and coach team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Oversee front-end and service operations for selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Coach team to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, Birthday parties) and loyalty enrollment.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
