Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring a Sales Manager in Weymouth, MA to lead a high-performing selling culture and drive sales results. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach the team, and ensure brand standards and SOP compliance across the store.

This role entails managing POS and Self-Checkout, vendor programs, and omni-channel services while promoting loyalty and protection plans. Evening/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and leadership abilities.
• Experience with POS and Self-Checkout systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teams to adhere to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, store conditions, and results.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviours to drive conversions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee in-store programs including Balloons, birthday parties, and loyalty enrollments.
• Drive omni-channel service through BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support framing operations in select frame shops and knit & sew shop oversight.
