Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Livonia, MI is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team, champion selling culture, and ensure excellent customer experiences across front-end and service operations.

You will oversee SOP adherence, POS excellence, and omni-channel initiatives while coaching associates, managing shifts, and driving store KPIs in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and develop store teams.
• Comfort with POS systems and omnichannel operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintain floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems and in-store programs and events.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train, coach, and develop team members across departments.
