Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. Medford, NY store is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and drive strong sales results. You will oversee front-end operations, customer service, and day-to-day execution to meet brand standards and KPIs.

You will coach teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage POS and checkout systems, and ensure efficient store operations, including BOPIS and delivery, with an emphasis on loss prevention and accurate policy adherence.

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building across departments.
