Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in Irving, TX to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations and ensure adherence to brand standards and SOPs while coaching associates for high performance.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, coaching selling behaviors, managing POS systems, and driving omni-channel initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and store results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Lead and coach teams to achieve sales and service KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Coach best-in-class Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Oversee accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection and reduce shrink.
