Michaels in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach selling behaviors, manage MOD coverage, oversee POS and omni-channel activities, and drive in-store programs including Loyalty, BOPIS, and Same Day Delivery while upholding brand standards and safety. Prior retail leadership and a passion for service are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and climb ladders or step stools.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales floor operations and customer experience.
• Coach team on selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store conditions.
• Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel tasks.
• Drive loyalty program enrollment and customer retention.
• Ensure BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing and Knit & Sew Shop operations.
