Job summary

Kirkland's is seeking a Sales Leader who is customer-obsessed with strong product knowledge and visual presentation skills. You will implement store plans and work with the Store Manager to ensure processes are executed, serving as a role model for the team and building rapport with customers and staff.

Responsibilities include leading in-store and online selling, greeting customers, educating on promotions and loyalty programs, and supporting inventory and storefront presentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year management experience in retail or service industry preferred.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience required.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in both in-store and online shopping.
• Promotes a customer-obsessed culture focused on greeting, re-engaging, educating, adding on, and thanking customers.
• Understands role in sales growth and store profitability.
• Reads customer cues to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise.
• Acts as brand ambassador and enforces company policies.
• Performs Manager on Duty duties including opening/closing, supervision.
• Assists in freight processing and maintains organized stockroom and presentation directives.
