Job summary

Kirkland’s is seeking a Sales Leader to drive customer-focused selling in store and online. You’ll model excellence, train the team, and execute store plans to boost sales while maintaining brand standards.

The role requires strong product knowledge, presentation skills, and rapport-building across customers and coworkers. Responsibilities include leading daily selling activities, promoting loyalty programs, and ensuring operational execution with the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience required.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and drives customer selling in store and online (ship to store).
• Creates a customer-obsessed culture that prioritizes selling behaviors by greeting, re-engaging, educating, adding on and thanking each customer.
• Understands your role in sales growth and how you contribute to store profitability.
• Reads customer cues and responds to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise to build baskets.
• Represents the brand by treating customers and coworkers with respect while supporting company policies.
• Leads by example and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Performs MOD duties such as opening/closing procedures and team supervision.
• Assists in freight processing, stockroom organization, and inventory accuracy.
