Job summary

Kirkland’s Home seeks a Sales Leader to drive customer-focused sales and maintain outstanding product knowledge and visual presentation. You will implement store business plans and collaborate with the Store Manager to guide the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires comfort building rapport with customers and team members, leading by example, and ensuring compliance with store policies while supporting profitability and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1 year of management experience in retail or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer selling experience required.
• Energetic, people and results oriented with drive to succeed.
• Valid Driver license and ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in both in store and online shopping experiences.
• Leads a customer obsessed culture prioritizing selling behaviors: Greeting, Re-engaging, Educating, Adding on and Thanking customers.
• Understand role in sales growth and store profitability.
• Read cues and respond to customers to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educate customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise assortment.
• Support brand ambassador role by treating customers and coworkers with respect and professionalism.
• Lead by example and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Perform MOD responsibilities like opening/closing, supervision, and store operations.
• Assist in freight processing, stockroom organization, merchandising presentation, pricing and inventory accuracy.

• Perform other duties as needed.
