Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team at the Prattville store. You will drive sales, coaching, and customer service standards across front-end and service operations.

Responsibilities include enforcing SOPs, managing POS systems, supporting loyalty programs, and delivering strong omni-channel service (BOPIS/Same Day Delivery) while developing staff and ensuring asset protection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage store operations and programs.
• Customer-focused coaching and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive a high-performing selling culture in the store.
• Ensure SOPs and company programs are followed and team held accountable.
• Model exceptional Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations to ensure smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Support Asset Protection efforts and shrink reduction.
• Partner in executing in-store programs, events, and loyalty initiatives.
