Job summary

Michaels Stores in Dover, DE, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and deliver strong sales results. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach the team, and ensure adherence to SOPs and brand standards.

You will provide MOD coverage, optimize POS systems, and drive loyalty enrollment and customer satisfaction while supporting in-store programs and omni-channel services. Hybrid leadership in a busy retail environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance and standards.
• Coach team on Customer Experience and selling behaviors to boost conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee front-end operations, POS and Self-Checkout usage, and store protocols.
• Drive omni-channel fulfillment including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support event programs (Balloon, birthday parties) and loyalty enrollment.
• Develop team through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Support Asset Protection and shrink reduction initiatives.
