Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in Middletown, DE to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end operations, coach staff, and ensure execution of SOPs while supporting omni-channel services and in-store programs.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership experience, coordinating teams, and maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviours to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee front-end operations, POS usage, and customer support.
• Oversee events and in-store programs (Balloons, birthday parties).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive services adoption (US only) and protection plans offerings.
• Lead Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience oversight.
• Ensure efficient execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Custom Framing operations and coordination with frame shop.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection and shrink reduction.
