Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing retail team in a fast-paced store environment. You will drive a strong selling culture, deliver excellent customer experiences, and manage front-end operations to meet brand standards and KPIs.

You will coach and develop associates, supervise Manager-on-Duty coverage, and ensure accurate POS usage while optimizing omni-channel services including BOPIS and delivery options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales results and customer experience.
• Oversee front-end and service operations ensuring SOPs and brand standards are followed.
• Coach and develop team, conduct manager-on-duty coverage, and maintain operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems to support transactions and customer service.
• Drive omni-channel service with BOPIS and Same Day Delivery; support loyalty programs and protection plans.
• Support various departments including Knit & Sew Shop and Custom Framing operations as needed.
• Maintain asset protection practices and reduce shrink through awareness and compliance.
