Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a part-time Sales Lead in our Retail department in San Diego. You will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, POS, inventory, donations, and ARC program coordination to supporting program beneficiaries.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of retail experience and a willingness to supervise staff when managers are unavailable. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year retail experience and supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations (opening/closing, POS, inventory, donations).
• Supervise store staff in the absence of managers and support scheduling.
• Monitor KPIs to drive sales and meet budget goals.
• Ensure excellent customer and donor service and maintain community relations.
