Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Sales Lead for a California retail store. The position is part-time and reports to the Store Manager/Assistant Manager, focusing on customer service, POS operations, and donations management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry is required.
• Must communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening/closing, POS, inventory, donations, and merchandising.
• Assume responsibility for day-to-day store operations in the absence of Store/Assistant Manager.
• Monitor key performance indicators to help drive store sales and profitability.
• Schedule staff and conduct team meetings; provide coaching and development.
• Ensure high levels of customer and donor satisfaction and maintain strong community relations.
