Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily store operations including opening/closing procedures and POS operations.
• In the absence of Store/Assistant Manager, manage day-to-day operations and discuss concerns with District Sales Manager.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive store sales and profitability per budget and goals.
• Schedule store employees to ensure coverage; coordinate meetings; provide coaching, training, and development; ensure Time and Attendance compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer and donor satisfaction and foster positive community relations.
• Support Back Room Processing (BRP) and warehouse tasks to meet daily processing goals.
• Supervise program Beneficiaries during Work Therapy Assignments where applicable.
• Protect cash, inventory, and property; manage deposits and security; ensure alarm systems are activated.
• Ensure building is secured during non-operating hours and safety procedures are followed.
• Report safety issues and incidents; oversee Weekly Store Meetings.
• May transfer or be relocated to other stores as needed.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by District Sales Manager and Command Retail Directors.
