Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a part-time Sales Lead in our California retail locations. You will support daily store operations, assist the Store Manager with sales and donations, and help mentor Beneficiaries and staff while ensuring excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of retail experience; supervisory experience is a plus, and a background check will be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have at least one year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations including opening/closing, POS, inventory, and donations.
• Cover shifts and supervise staff in absence of Store/Assistant Manager.
• Assist in monitoring KPIs to drive sales and profitability.
• Provide coaching and development to store employees and ensure Time and Attendance compliance.
• Maintain customer and donor satisfaction and positive community relations.
