Belk is seeking a Selling Lead to drive store performance through exceptional service, events, and customer engagement. You will connect customers with products, lead team efforts, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes delivering memorable shopping experiences, training teammates, and supporting omnichannel sales while maintaining visual merchandising and accurate signage. This is an hourly position with monthly bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience and a dedication to customer service excellence.
• Comfortable with technology and smartphones/tablets; able to use Windows-based devices.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive store results by building relationships with customers and team members.
• Support events, clienteling, and outreach to create memorable store experiences.
• Greet and assist customers, provide personalized service and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain merchandise presentations and signage.
• Lead by example to improve selling behaviors and share product knowledge.
• Utilize selling tools and inventory details to support omnichannel experiences.
• Maintain policy knowledge and keep the team informed of promotions and contests.
• Foster engagement and celebrate associate achievements to strengthen culture.
• Ensure clean, well-presented selling areas and stock replenishment.
• Support store operations with omni and loss-prevention processes.
