Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Lead to drive sales and store performance by building strong team and customer relationships. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help create memorable store experiences.

This hourly role includes monthly bonus eligibility and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. You will mentor teammates, manage signage and merchandising, and support omnichannel initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience and dedication to customer service excellence.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must move around store areas and assist customers.
• Bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable with technology and devices used in-store.

Responsibilities

• Own store objectives and key metrics through leadership and accountability.
• Create memorable store experiences via team, customer, and community relationships.
• Greet and assist customers with personalized service to enhance shopping.
• Process transactions accurately and resolve inquiries professionally.
• Promote selling behaviors and mentor teammates on daily goals and onboarding.
• Leverage selling tools and inventory knowledge to enable omnichannel experiences.
• Keep policies, promotions, and events communicated to the team.
• Foster engagement and celebrate associate achievements to boost morale.
• Maintain attractive selling areas and align displays with brand standards.
• Lead store fulfillment and asset protection following safety protocols.
