Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Lead to drive personal and store-wide results through strong team and customer relationships, event execution, and top-notch service. You will help deliver memorable shopping experiences and support omni-channel initiatives across the store.

You will greet customers, assist with transactions, and coach teammates to meet key metrics while maintaining visual standards and a welcoming environment. This hourly role includes eligibility for a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience and a dedication to customer service excellence.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable with technology and using store devices.
• Able to lift and move at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive store objectives and metrics through customer engagement and teamwork.
• Engage customers, build relationships, and support clienteling and events.
• Greet and assist customers, provide personalized service.
• Process transactions accurately and resolve inquiries professionally.
• Lead onboarding and coaching to improve selling behaviours and metrics.
• Support omni and operations processes, including inventory visibility and product features.
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage, and store presentation.
• Foster a positive store culture and recognize associate achievements.
