Job summary

Belk is seeking an hourly Selling Lead who helps drive store results by building genuine team and customer relationships, connecting customers with products, and creating memorable shopping experiences.

You will support the team in selling, events, merchandising, and delivering an outstanding omnichannel shopping experience, with monthly bonus eligibility and a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience.
• Ability to greet and assist customers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with smartphones and Windows devices.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and drive store objectives.
• Create memorable store experiences through relationships, outreach, and events.
• Greet and assist customers with personalized service.
• Process transactions accurately and handle inquiries professionally.
• Lead selling behaviors and support onboarding and training.
• Support omnichannel experience with inventory knowledge and product features.
• Maintain policy knowledge and keep team informed of promotions and events.
• Champion associate engagement and maintain a positive store culture.
• Maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness.
• Lead store fulfillment and asset protection while following safety protocols.
