Job summary

LOFT in The Shops at Kildeer, IL is seeking a Sales Lead to support and role model exceptional customer experiences. You will guide associates, collaborate with the Store Manager, and step in as manager when needed.

You will focus on delivering personalized service, onboarding new team members, and maintaining brand standards while encouraging inclusive, high-performing store operations.

Qualifications

• 6 months of retail sales experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Proficient with operating a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Enjoys communicating and coaching others.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Takes initiative in making thoughtful decisions.
• Able to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Be a representative of the brand and model personalized customer experience behaviors.
• Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an engaged team.
• Support an inclusive store environment for associates.
• Uphold high visual and operational standards.
• Use tools to drive a customer-focused team and profitable business.
• Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching to associates.
• Build productive relationships and share ideas with the team.
• Use technology to stay informed on company priorities and promotions for omnichannel shopping.
• Step into the role of manager when needed.
