Job summary

LOFT in Peoria, IL is seeking a Sales Lead to model exceptional customer experiences and support store associates. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to run daily operations and step in as manager when needed.

You will guide the team to deliver personalized service, coach colleagues, and uphold brand standards while driving sales and a seamless omnichannel experience. Part-time schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6-months of retail sales experience (preferred).
• Management experience (preferred).
• Technology proficient and ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
• Enjoys communicating and coaching.
• Flexible availability – evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Takes initiative and can prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Be a representative of the LOFT brand and model personalized customer experience behaviors.
• Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an engaged team.
• Support an inclusive store environment for associates where everyone feels welcome.
• Uphold visual and operational standards with a customer focus.
• Use tools to drive a customer-focused team and profitable business.
• Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching to improve customer interactions.
• Build productive relationships and support the team.
• Use technology to stay informed on priorities and promotions for omnichannel shopping.
• Seamlessly step into the role of manager when needed.
