Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC is seeking a Selling Manager to support the Store Manager and assist with management duties across the showroom. You will oversee departments, drive sales performance, and maintain guest satisfaction through strong leadership and team coordination.

The role requires robust supervisory experience in retail, excellent communication, and the ability to manage budgeted costs and staff development. This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years working in the retail industry.
• 4+ years supervising in a retail setting.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in team building.

Responsibilities

• Manage all showroom departments as directed by the Sales Manager.
• Review sales performance including margins, quotas and closing ratios.
• Assist Sales Manager with customer issues escalated beyond Guest Experience Manager.
• Collaborate with Visual Presentation Manager on product placement and policy communication.
• Provide leadership to sales, guest experience and visual teams.
• Coach staff to build individual and team success.
• Learn about budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies.
