Ashley Furniture is seeking a Selling Manager to support the Store Manager and help oversee showroom operations. You will lead sales teams, optimize margins, and guide staff to achieve targets while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include coaching, hiring, training, and reporting on performance, with a focus on team leadership and efficient store management. This full-time role requires retail supervisory experience and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma.
• 4+ years supervising in retail.
• 2+ years working in the retail industry.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interview and staff a retail location.
• Ability to handle guest concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Managing all departments in the showroom as directed by the Sales Manager.
• Reviewing sales including margins, volume, quotas, and closing ratios while suggesting future goals.
• Assisting the Sales Manager with customer-related issues escalating above the Guest Experience Manager.
• Coaching staff to build individual and team success.
• Learning about budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and coaching the sales team and evaluating performance.
