Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team in a fast-paced environment. You will champion selling behaviors, coach customer experience, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed to achieve key sales and service KPIs.

You will oversee POS operations, Customer interactions, and in-store programs such as Loyalty Rewards, BOPIS, and Same Day Delivery, while training staff and ensuring asset protection practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee store programs and events including loyalty and protection plans.
• Drive sales and operational excellence across in-store departments.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
