Job summary

Lowe’s Stores is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a safe, well-stocked store. You will coach staff, help with merchandising decisions, and ensure daily tasks are completed to meet sales goals.

The role emphasizes supervision of both customer-facing and back-office tasks, with a focus on leadership, training, and collaboration across departments to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and monitor daily performance.
• Oversee non-customer-facing activities such as down stocking, inventory management and area recovery; ensure store safety.
