Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead and coach a team of associates, ensuring top-notch customer service and a clean, safe store. You will support merchandising decisions and monitor safety practices while guiding staff across departments.

The role requires prior retail experience, customer service skills, and the ability to train and supervise teams, with occasional store opening/closing duties. Pro customer knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 years retail experience or 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Assist with down stocking, area recovery, and input into merchandising decisions.
• Monitor use of store power equipment and coach safe lifting techniques.
• Greet customers, clarify needs and identify solutions to close sales, and manage duties across departments.
