Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking Retail Sales Associates to help stores run smoothly and deliver exemplary service. You will use expert product knowledge and the GUEST service model to assist customers through every step of the transaction.

The role includes measuring and fitting NB products, sharing promotions, maintaining a neat floor, labeling items, and ensuring safety. A flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays, is required; prior retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and the GUEST service model.
• Greet and make customer contact; understand customer needs; educate on product features and benefits; solve customer questions; transact the sale with effective closing.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with NB products.
• Inform customers about promotions.
• Keep the floor neat, organized and well stocked.
• Label and price items properly.
• Protect products by tagging, monitoring and reporting shrinkage.
