Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking Retail Sales Associates to help our stores run smoothly and deliver exemplary customer service.

You will use product knowledge to assist customers throughout the purchasing journey and positively represent the New Balance brand. As a member of our store team, you will meet customers' needs, keep the floor organized, and participate in promotions, pricing, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older (stated requirement).
• People person with strong customer service and verbal communication.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to flourish in a team and fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cash registers and basic math.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and the GUEST service model.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with NB products.
• Inform customers about promotions and store events.
• Keep the floor neat, organized, and well stocked.
• Label and price items accurately.
• Protect products by tagging, monitoring and reporting shrinkage.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near-misses.
