Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently during checkout.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly per policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Conducts maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Delivers proper customer service: greet customers, assist with fitting rooms, ring up customers promptly, thank customers, and invite return.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains professional, neat appearance with name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising sales floor per stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures; reports theft/dishonesty and adheres to policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
