New Balance Athletics seeks Retail Sale Associates to ensure smooth store operations and outstanding customer service. You’ll use expert product knowledge and friendly sales techniques to guide customers through the buying process, representing the brand with every interaction.

You’ll educate customers on product features, help with fitting and sizing, and handle transactions while maintaining a clean, organized selling floor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with assistance if needed.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
• Understand the customer's needs and educate on product features and benefits.
• Solve customer problems and answer questions throughout the sale.
• Transact the sale through suggestive selling and effective closing.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions and keep the floor neat and stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and price marked properly.
• Protect products by tagging, monitoring, and reporting shrinkage or security issues.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
