The role requires initiative, integrity, and strong communication in a fast-paced retail setting. You will support daily store operations, handle transactions, assist with price changes, maintain merchandise presentation, and follow loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handles cash, checks and credit cards per policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains housekeeping and overall store maintenance.
• Provides proper customer service: greeting customers, guiding fitting room usage, ringing up, and thanking customers to encourage return visits.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains professional appearance with name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures (theft prevention and cash loss reporting).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
