The Sales Associate contributes to a positive work culture, supports change management, and assists with merchandising and daily store operations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains housekeeping and assists with merchandising on the sales floor.
• Provides proper customer service and greets customers.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Participates in loss prevention procedures and reports incidents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
