Job summary

The Navy Exchange Service Command in Norfolk seeks a Sales Associate for the Package Store (NEX NORFOLK). You will greet customers, promote products, and help them find items while representing the Navy Exchange brand with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to read, write, and interpret instructional documents; communicate with customers, peers and management.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to customers and able to work as part of a team with initiative.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a desire to provide outstanding service.
• Willingness to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
