Job summary

Boscov’s is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our Optical team and deliver exceptional customer service in Exton, PA. The role combines dispensing optician duties with supervisor responsibilities, coaching staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations from appointment scheduling to order processing.

You will interpret prescriptions, oversee insurance processing, maintain lab liaison, and uphold HIPAA compliance while driving sales and delivering the brand experience customers expect from Boscov’s.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in retail or a related field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and meet sales goals.
• Proficiency with computer systems for sales and timekeeping.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and uphold store policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Optical team to achieve sales goals and service standards.
• Interpret prescriptions, dispense eyewear, and manage fittings.
• Coordinate appointments, insurance processing, and third-party claims.
• Oversee daily operations, ordering, inventory, and lab liaison.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain a clean, organized department.
