Boscov's Department Store, LLC is seeking an Optical Manager (Non-Licensed) to lead the optical team and manage dispensing duties within a fast-paced department store setting.

The role combines managerial responsibilities with dispensing optician tasks, coordinating patient appointments, and liaising with the lab to ensure timely order processing. Weekend and holiday flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in retail.
• Strong supervising & mentoring skills.
• Able to use computer systems for sales, ordering & timekeeping.
• Polished customer service skills and ability to understand patients’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing outstanding service and managing appointments.
• Interpret prescriptions, perform optical measurements, dispense eyewear, and process orders.
• Lead, coach, and develop store associates to reach sales goals.
• Oversee daily store operations including scheduling, workflow, and inventory.
