Job summary

LILT is seeking experienced Retail professionals to support an AI benchmarking project focused on Indian retail. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will design and review scenarios across store operations, customer service, inventory, pharmacy workflows, and loss prevention.

This role is an independent contractor position, with no fixed hours, and work-from-anywhere flexibility. Native Hindi and strong English are required, with 5+ years in relevant retail roles.

Qualifications

• Native-level Hindi with strong professional English proficiency.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Retail, Store Operations, Pharmacy Operations, Commercial Management, Loss Prevention, or Retail Investigations.
• Background in roles: Retail Sales Supervision, Store/Operations Management, Pharmacist or Pharmacy Operations, Retail Security, Loss Prevention, Fraud Investigation, Customer Experience, or Multi-Branch Retail Operations.
• Strong understanding of customer service workflows, retail operations, compliance procedures, inventory management, and Indian retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic Retail Trade scenarios in Hindi or English grounded in Indian operational contexts (e.g., store operations, customer service escalations, inventory management, pharmacy workflows, retail compliance, fraud prevention, sales supervision, branch coordination).
• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics for operational problem-solving, customer interactions, retail decision-making, and compliance-related tasks.
• Review AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, policy compliance, customer service quality, and operational realism.
• Contribute to “gold standard” solutions reflecting best practices across Indian retail, pharmacy, and commercial operations.
