Job summary

LILT is seeking experienced Retail professionals for an AI benchmarking project focused on Indian retail. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will create and review scenarios across store operations, customer service, inventory, pharmacy workflows, and loss prevention.

This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the chance to influence how AI understands real-world retail. Work from anywhere, with no fixed hours, on projects that matter.

Qualifications

• Native Marathi with strong professional English proficiency
• 5+ years of professional experience in Retail, Store Operations, Pharmacy Operations, Commercial Management, Loss Prevention, or Retail Investigations
• Background in roles such as Retail Sales Supervision, Store/Ops Management, Pharmacist/Pharmacy Ops, Retail Security, Loss Prevention, Fraud Investigation, Customer Experience, or Multi-Branch Retail Ops
• Strong understanding of customer service workflows, retail operations, compliance, inventory management, and Indian retail environments

Responsibilities

• Design realistic Retail Trade scenarios in Marathi or English grounded in Indian operational contexts (store ops, customer service escalations, inventory, pharmacy workflows, compliance, fraud prevention, sales supervision)
• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics for operational problem-solving, customer interactions, retail decision-making, and compliance tasks
• Review AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, policy compliance, customer service quality, and operational realism
• Contribute to gold-standard solutions reflecting best practices across Indian retail, pharmacy, and commercial operations
