Job summary

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is hiring an Assistant Manager of Retail Operations to oversee the Essentials retail outlet and Mini Bar Program. You will lead daily operations, drive sales, manage inventory, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional guest service.

You will recruit and train staff, set performance goals, monitor budgets, and collaborate with hotel operations to ensure seamless guest experiences and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of management experience in retail ops, hospitality, hotel ops or related environments.
• Experience with retail inventory management, merchandising, revenue generation and controls.
• Strong leadership, coaching, employee development and performance management skills.
• Excellent guest service, communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory controls and business reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Essentials retail outlet and Mini Bar Program, ensuring guest service and revenue growth.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop team members; set performance expectations and conduct evaluations.
• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels and operational processes; implement tactics to optimize profitability.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of retail and mini bar services.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure stock accuracy and loss prevention.
