Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is seeking an Assistant Manager of Retail Operations to lead the Essentials outlet and Mini Bar Program. You will drive daily operations, staff development, and strategic initiatives to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue across both venues.

The role requires strong leadership, inventory control, and proficiency with point-of-sale systems, with a focus on ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of management experience in retail/hospitality or related fields preferred.
• Experience with retail inventory management, merchandising, revenue generation, and operational controls preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, and performance management skills.
• Excellent guest service, communication, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to analyze sales and operational data to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operation of Essentials retail and Mini Bar programs, ensuring service excellence and revenue optimization.
• Recruits, trains, schedules, coaches, and develops team members.
• Sets performance expectations and measurable goals for staff and supervisors.
• Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides coaching and recognition.
• Oversees staffing through collaboration with scheduling and operations leadership.
• Maintains proficiency in POS, cash handling, and inventory controls.
• Reviews sales and inventory trends to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure seamless execution of services.
• Ensures compliance with inventory management and internal control policies.
