Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (OASM-IT) in Beaumont, TX. The program delivers hands-on experience across store operations, customer service, and profitability, under the guidance of Store Managers and ASMs.

Training lasts up to six weeks, after which you will assume leadership responsibilities in key areas. You will learn to manage Customer Service Desk, Receiving, Tool Rental, Order Fulfillment, Lot Loaders, and Back Office, while developing

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering operations, customer service, sales and profitability.
• Learn staffing, scheduling, stock control, and associate performance processes.
• Supervise associates in selling efforts and model GET culture and customer focus.
• Plan merchandise placement, signing and inventory integrity; operate store systems and daily financial tasks.
• Perform opening/closing MOD and uphold safety policies and procedures.
