Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Operations Service Manager to lead store operations, coach a team of Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, and ensure exceptional customer service and professional standards.

You will supervise Customer Service and Receiving activities, manage staffing and training needs, and collaborate with District/Regional teams to achieve goals while maintaining assets and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in off-price, big box, specialty or multi-unit retail.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with scheduling and reporting computer software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to policies and safeguarding company funds and property.
• Provide guidance to Customer Service Supervisors to meet customer service expectations and smooth register flow.
• Manage overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks; coordinate with Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD); set leadership example and drive store results.
• Support Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
