Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum of 1 year military service or related full-time employment. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
• Possess a positive attitude and infect others with similar enthusiasm.
• Loyalty to the agency and its mission and policies.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Must be willing to obtain a forklift license if able.
• Ability to use good judgment, discretion, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Sales Associates, Utility Workers, Team Leads, ADC Attendants, and Production Workers.
• Delegate assignments; coach staff to attain growth and store goals.
• Demonstrates leadership by holding all team members accountable for SOPs.
• Provide comprehensive training on duties, policies and procedures, ethics and compliance.
• Evaluate performance and take corrective action when necessary.
• Oversee/monitor merchandise quality and production to meet sales goals; ensure customer service.
• Handle cash register processes, money handling, paperwork, and deposits.
• Provide tools and guidance to team to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain store/warehouse cleanliness and safety; request repairs as needed.
• Support merchandising, store presentation, inventory, and customer relations.
• Ensure documentation is completed timely (sales, staff schedules, etc.).
• Assist in hiring: review applications, conduct interviews.
• Represent store and agency to community; collaborate internally and externally.
• Work with Store/Operations Manager to maximize service and continuous improvement.
• Review sales metrics to set performance standards and detect trends.
• Drive revenue with supervisor and staff; participate in planning.
• Available during nontraditional hours including some weekends/evenings.
• Serve as emergency contact for locations after hours.
• Ensure good service, merchandise, prices, and donating/shopping experience; monitor via systems.
• Analyze monthly production, sales and donor reports to identify weaknesses and fix them.
• Cover areas during absence; may travel to other locations.
• Operate forklift truck.
• Complete all duties and requirements.
