Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Maryland (Silver Spring) is seeking an Operations Service Manager to lead store operations, coach a team of Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, and ensure top-tier customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in off-price, big-box, specialty or large multi-unit retailers.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards, safekeeping of funds and asset protection.
• Provide guidance to the Customer Service Supervisors to ensure smooth customer flow at registers.
• Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the overall receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks and partner with Receiving Supervisor on inventory accuracy.
• Act as the Manager on Duty; set leadership example for customers and associates and drive store results.
• Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Assist in managing other store operations areas as needed and communicate with District/Regional management.
